Waltham Vanguard Model 1908 23 Jewel 16 Size 10k Gold Filled Pocket Watch ca. 1941.  This handsome Waltham Vanguard model 1908, 16 size, open face pocket watch has a gold filled case measuring approximately 50mm in diameter.  The case has minimal wear throughout and is in overall great condition.  Both the front and back covers remove, replace and secure properly with great threading.  The white colored dial has large black Arabic numerals, large blue spade/whip hands, a single sunk seconds register at six and is marked "Waltham Vanguard 23 Jewels".  The dial is in excellent condition.  The crystal is in great condition.  The inside case is stamped "Waltham - Keystone JBoss - 10K Gold Filled - 993972".  The movement is stamped "Vanguard - Waltham U.S.A. - 23 Jewels  - 30753002".  All screws and jewels appear to be in great condition.  Stem wind, lever set.  This watch is running.  No guarantee of future performance.  This vintage Waltham Vanguard is in overall excellent condition!  Circa. 1941
