Vintage Amethyst and Diamond 14k Yellow Gold Ring

Vintage Amethyst and Diamond ring in 14k yellow gold abstract with textured finish circa 1970's. 

The amethyst has amazing colors, this has to be one of the nicest I've seen in a long time. With this smooth and textured 14k gold for added affect, accented with about .12cts in diamonds.  It is a ring that can be worn as a cocktail ring or an everyday ring, and as far as good looks go, there is a lot going on here. I couldn't quite capture its true colors, looks much nicer in person. This unique ring would make a very nice gift or just add it to your collection. It will be shipped in a new presentation gift box.

SPECIFICATIONS:

PRIMARY GEMSTONE:  a marquise shaped, cabochon opal measure approximately 10mm by 4.8mm and the smaller ones measure 7.7mm by 4mm .

METAL:  14k yellow gold.

WEIGHT:  8.6 grams.

RING SIZE:  approximately 7.

MEASUREMENTS:  approximately 19 mm vertical.

CONDITION:  high magnification photographs show considerable design details, and the item is in good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
